I'm shocked this thread has gone 4 pages with no mention of bacon or turtles.... So just for the record, I like turtles. And bacon. Haven't tried them together yet, but is anything bad with bacon?

That is so awesome!
  I think BFI started a thread not so long ago, where we were discussing feeding turtles bacon. To infuse the turtle from the inside out with bacon flavor prior to making said turtle into soup.
