Charlie Bamforth's book, Beer is Proof God Loves Us: Reaching for the Soul of Beer and Brewing, normally $26, is free today (5/30) at the Amazon Kindle store. I have been reading the Kindle version for a while now and bought the hard copy because I have enjoyed the book so much.
