If you are a whisky drinker I highly recommend Whisky Stones. My wife bought them for me last year for father's day and they are fantastic, I use them all the time.

Guess you need to be careful tossing those into your glass :)

rabid_dingo ever try Downslope whiskey? FWIW, they used to have a plan where
you bought an MT cask for 80$ they fill it with Whiskey, age it out in your bbl,
then give you the fresh dump cask.  I almost got one but then found as good a
source for a fresh dump red wine cask instead...went with that.

I just wondered how their product stacks up against the giant masses of emerging
craft products. so set me up a Double Diamond barkeep...thanks waiting for
their Marris Otter malt product to release.

I have a bottle of Templeton Rye I'm waiting to open till a buddy of mine comes back from Afghanistan in August.  I'm figuring on a toast at our Oktoberfest to welcome him home.

just had some again recently. this is one of the best standard expressions (if a 16 yr old can be considered a standard expression) out there. huge body and an incredibly long finish. very, very good whiskey.

I don't keep a ton of it on-hand but here's a recent pic:

I also really like the HP but for whatever reason I just don't get the Macallan hype. I have two bottles of it because they were gifts and I rarely drink them.  It helps when your BIL is (was) a spirits distributor. :)

Maybe I'll use it in airlocks. :o

At three it is very young, but Chatoe Rogue Single Malt is a very nice whiskey. Has a taste one can only describe as 'the ocean."
