Great idea, it's always nice to see what everyone else is reading. Here's the last couple that I finished
Freedom, Jonathan Franzen - loved it, humurous and spot on book about life, politics and family/marraige.
Musicophilia, Oliver Sacks - loved it, excellent book about music and the brain authored by an amazing neurologist. Heavy reading
The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, Oliver Sacks - fast read discussing various odd brain cases, also by the neurologist
The Bread Baker's Apprentice, Peter Reinhart - great bread baking book (light reading)
A Man Without a Country, Kurt Vonnegut - humorous book that you can read in a night or two. pretty opinionated stuff
Why I Am So Wise, Friedrich Nietzsche - philosophy of sorts, some interesting points
Now I'm working on a half dozen or so books, but none that I'm that impressed with yet. cheers, j
