NZ homebrew reviews
« on: July 03, 2011, 08:30:18 pm »
I am looking at expanding the homebrew reviews that we do in NZ to the international arena, here is the latest review on a homebrewed Raspberry Flanders Brown Ale http://youtu.be/o8VVP63dp-M

I have done one international review so far http://youtu.be/nt5_f_puacM and I am looking for more homebrewers that want to do international beer swaps. If you are interested, subscribe to http://www.youtube.com/time4another1 and leave a comment.

You do know that home distilling is legal in NZ yah?

Are you on any of the distilling forums?

No I decided to focus on the beer brewing, taking that commercial is much easier than spirits. Once you have 10ltrs of bourbon sitting in a large carboy you have enough for a while, anyway  :)

I know what you mean.  I have a white dog that watches over my brewery.  ;)

Lucky ting you live NZ, yah?

I'm not sure about the laws involved with shipping beer between  Hawaii and NZ.  US laws can be a bit restrictive when it comes to shipping untaxed beer.  Even just for analytical purposes.

I sent a beer to New Mexico, US customs opened it up and had a look at it and that was about it. I labelled it on the customs declaration as a "Malt Soda" no lying there :) and said it was a gift. I know though that Florida is harder due to state taxes. NZ is pretty easy to get stuff in the country, there main worry is agriculture and environmental risks, along with the standard drug and weapon restrictions of course.

Would be keen to do a beer swap, I think I would have no issues sending from this side.
