We just sent out this action alert to Mississippi residents: http://bit.ly/YdtZQz.  If you live in Mississippi, contact Governor Bryant's office and POLITELY ask him to sign SB 2183 to legalize homebrewing in your state.

If he signs the bill, the law will go into effect July 1, 2013.

Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant has signed a bill that will legalize homebrewing in the state. The new law goes into effect July 1, 2013.  Congratulations to everyone at Raise Your Pints, particularly Craig Hendry and Butch Bailey, and the homebrewers of Mississippi who worked so hard over the last few years to make this a reality.

Now if the Alabama state legislature can get moving on passing bills, perhaps we can make 2013 the year that homebrewing became legal in all 50 states.

Kansas residents, contact your state House representative in support of HB 2223 to allow homebrew to be served outside the home for club meetings & competitions. See the action alert: http://bit.ly/13fOnte

The Alabama House passed the homebrew legalization bill today. Now we need the Senate to schedule a vote on their version of the bill.  That bill has already passed a Senate committee hearing.
