Best Weekend ever, Warped Tour 2011
« on: July 05, 2011, 03:39:00 pm »
My daughter was invited to join a band consisting of 12 and 13 year olds. They had qualified to play at the Ventura CA stop on the tour. The kids did a great job and I wanted to share my favorite song. My daughter is also 12 by the way:

Your daughter's the singer?  That's really cool.  Great job.  Now I know that you have to be a 12 year old girl to be able to hit some of Robert Plant's notes.  She should try The Who's Love Reign O'er Me.  Seems like they also cover Rush; ok, let's hear Temples of Syrinx.

Rockin'! Here's their site: http://slatr.org/music.html - the original track is pretty good. Reminds me of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
