:D  Someones up early too!!

If I recall I had just gotten into my hotel room in Limerick Ireland after my "day at the office".

Speaking of layovers and beer advertising........

Somewhere in the late 90's on a Sunday morning I walked into a diner on the main drag in Nashville. Forgot the name "Roberts" something....also had a wall full of very dusty boots for sale. Place was greasy as hell, been there forever. Hung over cook, equally "friendly" waitress. Place was full of people 60+ in the latest 50's fashion, eating greasy food while smoking cigarettes.

There was a small stage, at night they had live music in there. A tall dude in western wear walks in, and one of the "guests" says hi to him, turns on the sound system and introduces him as Bob (or something) with a song you may recognize.

Bob gets up there, says something about a song he wrote a long time ago,  and with a basso fundo starts singing this country
tune... and the last line is....."If you got the time, we got the beer........Miller beer." It was a moment.

My guess: They mash longer for extra fermentability.

I think this is the real answer. And they are most likely adding some funky enzymes that aren't present in grain to get that really low FG, so the mash takes longer.  I remember something about using Beano....

Miller Lite "Tipple hops brewed". wtf.  I'm thinking 3 separate hop additions. idk.

At least the label reads Union made.

It's just a typo.

Brewed lager is what they really meant to say...  ::)

That was it.

The Rainier Northwest Beergraphic rests above my kegerator. I used to have lots of Rainier paraphernalia including an autographed model of the over sized Micky Rooney autographed model beer opener. Great advertizing scheme, but I think the ad guys were on something other than Rainier Beer.
