I can't help but say that I've only watched this show a couple times, but I have to say they do some good work.

I didn't know about it until a friend spent time staying in Kanab, UT to do some of the National Parks and Lake Powell.  She also likes animals and spent a day at the shelter.  Yes they do good work and give the animals great care.

Never heard of it.....what's it about?

Its a show about the Best Friends Animal Society (http://bestfriends.org/) and their efforts to rehabilitate animals including a lot of animals considered unadoptable by other groups. They do a ton of work and it's pretty cool to watch.

Of course I just have a giant soft spot for animals. I think I like animals better than about 99% of the people I meet. :)
