This non-fermentable sugar seems like it might be a great candidate
for back sweetening.  It has a great sugar like flavor unlike some other
non-fermentables. 
A fine is a tax for doing wrong. A tax is a fine for doing well.

I have an unwritten rule:
Anything that begins with X doesn't go into my fermenter (except, perhaps, Agent Scully).

There is the problem, whoever named this had their head in a duffel bag very deeply...
It is already in many things you consume...
