« on: January 03, 2010, 06:06:15 pm »
Im not sure if this thread belongs here but while making a batch yesterday we put the airlock on but forgot  to put the little upside test tube part on. how likely is it that air got into my batch. Thanks in advance

You should be fine.  Some brewers don't even put the lids on tight on their buckets.
If Homebrew & BBQ aren't the answer, then you're askin' the wrong questions... Cheers!!!

You are just fine... I ferment in a pot with a loose lid sitting on top. I understand where you are coming from though... There was a time where I was freakish in the beginning. You will learn that despite everything we are taught, beer is extremely forgiving.
