Sample Glassware Sources
« on: August 01, 2011, 05:53:39 pm »
Looking to source some sample glasses (around 1000) for our 3rd annual Cigar and Brewfest. Something in the 5 to 7 oz. range, printable, with souvenir potential and a definite cut above crackable plastic.

Oh . . and affordable!   :D

Ideas please . . .
Just brew it...

...don't know about "printable" and "affordable", though, sorry.

Those are nice glasses, but $2.00 a piece is at the top end budget wise! Since i posted my original entreaty, I've perused myriad sites and found this  6 oz. pilsner . . $0.93 a pop.

That may be as good as I can hope for . . Thought there might be a brother-in-law deal lurking around here!   ;D

I bought a dozen for cheap from them. Already broke one... Regardless they are excellent quality glassware! I'm using one right now.

Call them and see if you could arrange shipping and bulk-price for a thousand at a price more to your liking.

I love stanges and it's getting close to the pilsner in price . . . This statement concerns me a little in terms of Beer Fest durability.

Their appeal comes not only from their history and their classic design, but also from the thin (0.040") sidewall glass;

You said you broke one  . . dropped or it succumbed to assertive handling?

Knocked it off the table onto a ceramic tile floor. So far- no glass, plate or bowl has been able to survive the fall. :P

Thanks for that link.  I've been looking for some stanges for my annual Football Fest.  At that price I can afford to let my guests have a souvenir glass.  Prost!

Are these real German 0.2 L glasses with the 0.2 L level marked on them?
