Since starting this hobby I have always had one goal.

1)  To improve my beer.   All new equipment purchases and new methodologies always were directed at that goal.  I would prioritize purchases based on that premise even at the expense of convenience.

With experience a second goal was added.

2)  To improve my breweries safety.  I then moved from a three tier system to a single tier.  That took most of my resources for a period of time.  Most of the summer actually.

Now, for 2010 I have been concentrating on increasing my ingredient supply and volume.  I want to begin kegging this year, and it may even be at the expense of goal number one above.  Although a fermentation freezer conversion would be better used to meet that goal, I find kegging becoming more important.  That and yeast handling are my goals.

1. Set up my grain mill and pump, should be next week.
2. Get my porter and black lager recipes nailed down. (They're really close!)
3. Brew more - I only did 35 gallons in 2009 and I'd like to do a lot more in 2010. Only up to the 100 gallon limit, of course. ;)

Begs the question, is it worth getting hitched to bump that limit up to 200 gallons :)

If memory serves you only have to be cohabitating, and that's a definite possibility for this year. ;D

Thats where a blow up doll in bed and a womans coat from a rummage sale hanging on the hook are helpful when the beer police show up..

Oh, I forgot my goals, I need to make some different beers and expand my wings a little.  I make about 6 beers all the time and need to play with some other yeasts and styles.
And I need to continue working on my Hoptober clone recipe again.

Yeah I know. I so long to be lazy. Seems I am behind on everything.

I want to build my brew stand too. Hoping to do it at about the same time or a little after yours. Im going with regular steel though.

Hey, BTW good thing you got your stainless when you did. Price is climbing fast now. Ill bet those tubes are worth a lot more now. I wish I bought an ass load of stainless.

Sorry for the highjack.

My goals is

1. to help bluesman meet his goal.

2. complete a brew stand, maybe two,  for my self as well.

3. Go AG get expedient with it and stay there.

4. star kegging.

5.. brew more beer.

I think that is realistic?  ::)

Let's see.....

1)Build my collar. All I lack are shanks. Cedar 2X4's are sitting in garage, 4 Perlicks are in brew closet. Freezer is just waiting!

2)Get a pump and begin whirlpooling my wort around my IC in my keggle.

3)Bottle these damn Brett beers. I hate bottling, but I don't want to keg these bad boys. They tend to go way too quickly in kegs. Only 15 gallons....I can do it!

4)Golf more! Oops, off-topic.

Wow, I like all the goals mentioned!  I'm stuck at the moment with my brew shed, so I guess its finishing that.  Right now its doubling as a storage shed as well as a brew shed and its kinda cramped, no power, etc.  When winter breaks I'll start working on it again.

Brew a lambic.
Build the Brewmaster 3000 (which includes plumbing work in the basement and a hood for the BK.)

1  Focus on my process to improve efficiency and consistency.
2  Begin kegging
3  Brew a little more often
So good once it hits your lips!
