I have a 1.5 bbl system that is about 90 percent completed ... and I need to learn to brew on it. That's my goal.

Lose about 10 lbs., ride my bike more, brew even better beer, do more things that please the wifey.

Not necessarily in that order...
Just brew it...

Brew a lot (I'm retired now), get my barrels filled again (7.5 for lambic, 5 for flemish red), use those grains I smoked (12 lbs), enter some competitions, do some more decocted lagers, maybe get back to Bamberg for research.

Go to the NHC again, always a good time.  See you there.

1. Refurbish the used brew stand I bought for my wife a few years ago so that she does not have to lift heavy mash tuns when she brews.
2. Enter more competitions.
3. Take the BJCP exam.

My number 1 goal is to brew more!  Hopefully I can hit the 200 gallon limit!  ;)

I also want to brew with members of my club more consistently.....It's good for everyone!

I'm very happy with my Porter and Pale Ales. I really want to brew a good tripel this year as well as a good hefeweisen.

I just thought of another one . . Be more efficient with my ingredient purchases. In the past I've bulk purchased without much consideration to what I was ultimately going to brew. I was especially guilty during the hop shortage a couple of years ago. Now, I'm going to decide what I will brew for the year and buy only what I will use.
Just brew it...

I'm pretty guilty of this myself.  What I need to do is get a sack or two of base malt and then just buy what I need for the next few batches.  I don't think I could buy everything I needed for the entire year though.  I change my mind too often and keep tweaking my recipes up until I really need to order the ingredients.

invest in fermentation control equipment.  I figure my process can't really improve much more until I can better control fermentation temps.
