Nothing has made me sick other than the Cantillon Grand Cru I drank one night 4 years ago. Still think it messed my insides up.

For just plain bad beer Breckinridge Vanilla Porter comes to mind. Or stuff brewed at Independence Brewery in Austin. Their Convict Hill Stout is so horrible I've poured out every glass after a few sips.

I agree on the Vanilla Porter - I'm almost positive that's the one I had. I tried and tried but couldn't drink the entire pint.
I had it on tap in Denver pub back in 2006, I think.  It was ambrosia!  Smooth silky and with hints of vanilla.  I have had it on tap since, and it is nothing like the wonderful beer I had in Denver.

This reminds me of the time I went into Monk's Pub in Philly and found that they had Cantillon on tap.  The bartender obviously had had this beer returned before more than once, because she had to shout over the crowd, "it comes in a glass this size (holding up a .3 liter flute), it costs 8 dollars and it's really sour!" I still ordered it, but her reaction was funny.
All sour beer messes with your guts.  It rarely stops me from enjoying them.

I just tried Samuel Smith's Nut Brown ale...  Yuck.  I like Sam Smith, but not this one. Couldn't even finish it.  One of my buddies brewed an elderberry beer recently... Again, yuck.  I did finish that one, only to be polite

Magic Hat Wacko Beet Beer.

I have yet to have ANYTHING Magic Hat I thought was worthy . . including their Flagship #9.

I fully expect to see them spin Rutabaga Brew as the next ambrosial elixir . . .  :-\
Just brew it...

I'm not a fan of Magic Hat #9 either. I like Circus Boy.

I think Budweiser falls into the "never again" category but that goes without saying here at the AHA.  ;)

I'll throw the Vanilla Porter under the bus too.  I thought it was one of the most unbalanced beers I've ever tasted.  It's like they dumped a bottle of vanilla extract in every 12 oz bottle.  Blech...

I've not had their Circus Boy. Perhaps there is a residue of hope.

The entire Butter Nuts canned beer lineup. I bought the mixed 12 pack because i wanted to try some canned "craft beer". I couldn't finish a single one of them because they were all completely awful. As a matter of fact, I will probably steer clear of any beer in a can again. But it is nice to think that if someone can make crap beer and be successful, maybe one day i can make the beer I love and be successful. Thank you crap beer makers, you give me hope!!!!
Everyone should believe in something. I believe I'll have another beer.

But by that logic, if you had a bad beer on tap, you would never drink draft beer again.

I attempted to drink Dave's Cave Creek Chili beer twice.  Truly awful the first time.  A few years later pretty much the same the second time.

I will agree with this one.  I don't mind hot peppers in beer but it must have a good malt backbone to balance out the spiciness of the peppers.  Dave's Cave Creek Chili beer does not fit this criteria.

hmmm, also leinenkugles berry weiss or anything from Delafield Brewhaus.  My wife & I went to Delafield Brewhaus a couple of years ago and everything had a sweet taste to it.  Not sure if it was underattenuated or if they back sweetened it.  The best thing was a blue raspberry malt beverage.  :(

Anything with fruit in it. I've tried several and the first one of 2 sips are good and then I'm tired of it.

I challenge everyone who has posted in this thread to travel to western Colorado and try the brews at "Rockslide Brewery."  I can guarantee you that it will top your "never again" list.  The funny part is that for decade(s) it was our only brewpub.  Now locals think that beer is supposed to taste like that.  Thank god for homebrew and one newer brewpub that makes very solid though non adventurous brews.
