Have to work Saturday and plan to bottle a Belgian Quad on Sunday. No brewing this weekend.

Forgot to add that I'll be building a second portable kegerator this weekend too.  8) I built a 2.5 gallon "coolerator" a few years ago. The new one will accommodate 5 gallon cornies.

So, I'm doing the Saison Saturday. I tweaked the recipe one more time after re-reading the section in Farmhouse Ales that was written by Yvan De Baets.  :-\

I wouldn't mind hearing your recipe if you feel like sharing. :)

Brewing a batch of Amber Ale on Friday night. Not that it matters, but this will be my first night time brew session and on a Friday night no less. Things could get rowdy!

EDIT

I had it here, but moved it to the "Beer Recipes" area . . .

I just moved my daughter into new housing for her senior year at UW Madison; her friends heard I homebrew, so now I am committed to a ten gallon batch of Badger Red Ale.  Should be easy and just trying to settle on the yeast - Irish ale or just US-05.  The youngsters palates may call for US-05, so maybe I will split the batch and compare!

Might go with a Cali-common.

Heard a pretty simple Arrogant Bastard clone recipe on The Jamil Show the other day. I think I may be giving that one a whirl on Sunday. Either that or I might attempt a Berliner Weiss that I am supposed to do as a friend's birthday beer... We shall see! :P

15lbs of C-120L and 1lbs of Chinook?? j/k ;D

No brewing this weekend - more work on the new brewery (and the house around it that my wife seems more focused on) and diving into the latest tapping of my house IPA which somehow tastes like the best yet - no new changes to the recipe in a long time, guess I just captured some magic on this one.

Just made a starter of White Labs' Mexican Lager.  Hoping to brew some sort of hoppy pilsner manana.

I have tasted your IPA and really liked it and now you're saying it's even better?
What kinda dry hops?

Thanks Jeffy!  yeah the one I submitted to Sunshine was good, but in my opinion, not my best batch of that recipe for some reason.  This one, I just tapped on Wed night and I can't stay away.

Now that I think of it, I did incorporate one small change this time - I dryhopped both in the fermenter (2oz for 10 gal) and again in the keg (1oz each) whereas I usually just do the keg.

The dryhops are all Columbus.

Might brew if I come with a recipe I want to brew w/US-05 or S-04, didn't get a starter for liquid yeast going. Work is getting in the way of my brewing. Kegging an all Galaxy hopped AIPA. Tasted promising going into dry hop.

Still debating about whether or not to brew the yearly cheer beer today...I either brew it today or in about a month from now when my next free weekend comes around.

I brewed an alt yesterday and screwed up.  I was fly sparging and got busy and forgot to shut the valve from the HLT(and I was absolutely sober).  The first time I noticed was when the kettle began to run over.  So I took 3 gallons from the kettle and boiled it down to a quart, like I do my wee heavy.  So we'll see what happens with it
I'd really just rather be brewing in sunny Carlsbad New Mexico
