Interested in buying some wet hops. If you got in on the recent sale by-the-pound, I can take a few ounces off your hands.

Pi - just wanted to make sure you realize, you need to use 4-5x the same amount of dryhops when using wet/fresh - so if you bought 4oz off of someone, they'd equate to about .80-1.0 oz.

If you were anywhere near me, you could come and pick all the Cascades you wanted.  I've got lbs. left from the last 2 years and I'm not looking forward to picking, drying, and packaging this year's crop.

I'm about as far away from you as you can get in the lower 48, but my question to you is how do you package your hops so they are still good 2 years later?

Dried and vacuum sealed, stored in the freezer.

Damn, this is a good idea and got me to thinking - what if you added the dry hops to wort or beer?

No way that would work. It would probably just make the beer bitter.
