I just completed bottling my first batch of beer. I figured "I'll bottle factory style, leave the empties in the 12-pack box while I fill them, cap 'em, done." Upon capping the last bottle, I went to bring them back downstairs to condition. Suddenly, bam bam bam, roll, roll, bam, roll, bam, bam. My box opened up from the bottom. Overflow from filling had weakened the box. They haven't exploded. (Yet?) Sure, I could have held the box from the bottom. But no. Yes, I was drinking beer while bottling. It was strange to watch this happen and for it to be funny and horrifying at the same time. Cheers.

Happy to hear none broke and everything is okay.  My basement stairs end in concrete so I likely would not have been so lucky.

I can only imagine what my reaction would have been.
