An easy way to get into all grain without all the elitist 3v gear!
"3v"? 3 vessel?
I think the only difference between my cheap-o cooler set up is that I spent about $30 total on a cooler, a stopper, a nylon valve and a braid. There have certainly been times in my life when I couldn't spare the $30, but I wouldn't consider that elitist.
On the other hand, I was able to get into all grain brewing thanks to the bargain nature of the cooler set-up. If BIAB had been around then, I'm sure I would have tried that first for the simplicity and the fact that I could have made a few small batches for the $2 that a paint strainer bag would set me back. I really like the idea of any method that allows brewers to take that first step into all grain as easily as possible.
When did a cooler with a toilet hose become "elitist"?
"Water supply line", please!

Toilet hose always reminds me of that scene in "Christmas Vacation" when Randy Quaid is emptying the camper storage tank into the storm drain.
