I got to foot ski a massive slab this week way up in the headwaters of the Rio Grande.
Good times in the Colorado alpine.

I can only point to the massive hail storm we got
on the CDT which collected 12 inches deep in debris flows on the trail.
Made for some good graupelly ball bearing snowconeish treat.
Yum.
