Finally getting to the triple decoction hefeweizen with the wife. woohoo! It will be the most complicated brew day I have ever done. building water from RO, doing a decoction and working with my wife for the whole process (while our child is passed from hand to hand I would guess) I think I will let her do most of the actual work and I will hang with the kid as much as possible. I want it to be her beer as much as is reasonable.

Studying for my BJCP Exam in hopes of bettering my score. The exam is on 9/11.  :o

I'm really not superstitious but that date just rings in my head.

No brewing until 9/18.

Going to brew an American Amber. It will be the fifth in a series of beers I have been brewing for my annual Oktoberfest party, which I have eponymously named Schwandtoberfest.  ;D

I'll be getting the last of the lighter beers out of the way then onto the Winter heavies.  Brewing up a 6% abv Pseudo-Schwarz on Sunday Morning.  CDA and Westmalle Clone coming up soon!

Wife said there's so much to do this weekend that I have to choose between brewing and attending the VT season opener.  Decisions, decisions...

I don't, but my wife has been browsing the alumni store for the last couple of days.  I'll have to ask her to keep an eye out  ;)
