Finally getting to the triple decoction hefeweizen with the wife. woohoo! It will be the most complicated brew day I have ever done. building water from RO, doing a decoction and working with my wife for the whole process (while our child is passed from hand to hand I would guess) I think I will let her do most of the actual work and I will hang with the kid as much as possible. I want it to be her beer as much as is reasonable.

I will bottle my first pale ale and brew my first thanksgiving specific beer, a maple brown ale.

Going to brew an American Amber. It will be the fifth in a series of beers I have been brewing for my annual Oktoberfest party, which I have eponymously named Schwandtoberfest.
