Just finished 10 gals of Kolsch and planning on 10 gals of an English Pale if I can get the yeast ready in time.  Probably be ready for Monday.  Kegged 5 gals of French Saison, 5 gals of Cali Common and 5 gals of APA.
Then work gets busy and I may not brew again for a very long time :(

No brewing this weekend.  Kegging perhaps.

And I'll do my best to pick up some growlers from Lazy Monk Brewing when I drive by Eau Claire.

No brewing here...again.  Sigh.  Going on 2 months, my longest stretch without brewing since I started.  Life has gotten complicated recently.

Starters of 1214 going for 11 gallons of Dubbel, racking the Sorachi Ace Saison to secondary, bottling 6 gallons of Peach Apricot Chardonnay and kegging a lagering Bier de Garde.
Just brew it...

I'm brewing an IPA of some sort. I have bulk grain and hops and a slurry of 1272 ready to go. I just need to figure out what flavor I'm after.
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

One of the best aspects of being a brewer, In my opinion is the requirement of focus. When I brew, I get channeled in. Its the only thing going on. I think some people see golf the same way. Its relaxing because youre just out there golfing. No other BS. Just like brewing. You're just out there brewing...no other BS! Thats the best part. You get to unplug from everything else and just brew. Hope you get back on your rig soon!

I've got my annual Punkin Porter on deck for Saturday. At 7.8%, this is a good beer to have just in time for the winter. Should be ready to drink by Halloween!  Also need to keg the Amber Ale I brewed a couple weeks ago.

Brewing a pumpkin ale on Monday.  Next week will be my big brew week where I will actually brew two batches in one day.  I'm excited for that.

Hey Bluesman, I'm flying to Palm Springs on 9/11 - I think I might have one up on you on the freaked out scale.  10 year aniversay and the year we got Bin Laden....

If it helps take the edge off the date for you it's also the 4th anniversary of my Dad's death.  I prefer to remember the day for him.  Bin Laden get too much credit anyway.    :)

Where the heck are we going?  And what's with this hand basket?
