Watched the Saints spank the Falcons tonight.  Congrats to Brees on the record, although I think Payton should be benched next week for letting Brees play when they are up 3 TDs with 5 minutes left.  I can understand the desire to get the record, but there is always next week.  How stupid would he have looked if Brees and taken a shot to the knee?  Incredibly short sighted and irresponsible.

I did enjoy it, although it was boringly one-sided.

But if I owned the team Payton would be in my office after the game, because it's a business, and the Saints go nowhere with Brees on the sidelines for the playoffs.

Scary first half for the good guys on Christmas Eve day, but we never lost faith.  Clinched a first round bye and going for the 1st seed in the AFC this weekend.

Santa was also good to me in pretty much knocking the Jets out of the playoffs

It's going to be difficult not to root for Denver if Pittsburgh goes to Mile High for their first round playoff game. 

Really looking forward to seeing the Saints play Green Bay, assuming that happens.

It's pretty liberating when your favorite team sucks.  Once the Chiefs beat Green Bay my season was made.  All the rest is lagniappe.
