Man am I pissed off!  I got called out on Saturday to repair a water main cut on one of the distribution systems I operate.  No big deal, set the DVR to record both Divisional Playoff Games and off I go.  Got the cut repaired, get back home, get cleaned up, and settle down in front of the big screen for the SF - NOLA game.  Make it all the way to the second half 2 minute warning and the recording runs out???  Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!!  Turns out that for some reason the DVR did not record 30 minute extension I programmed it to record.  Not on the backup DVR in the bedroom either.

So, I haven't seen the last two minutes of the game.  I have heard all about it, but did not get to watch it play out.

Now THAT was a great game!  Just wish the good guys would have won.  Just wish I could have watched the amazing last 2 minutes.

Then I watched about 15 minutes of the second game.  I saw where that was going so I 4x >> through the rest of the game.  Even at that speed it was painful to watch.

So I couldn't care less about the rest of the season.  I really don't give a RA about the rest of the survivors.  Guess I'd like to see the Texicans go all of the way just cause they never have before.

Still can't believe I didn't get to watch the last 2 minutes of what was certainly the best game of the post season, quite probably of the entire season.   >:(

It was a good game. San Fran definitely deserved that win, especially the defense. Denver definitely deserved the loss. Ouch. Bellichik definitely knew how to handle the Tebow run offense. And even though I don't like Tom Brady he sure is one hell of a QB.

I guess I don't have anyone to root for now either. I reckon I'd like to see the G men knock off the Cheese heads. And of course I hate the Ravens so I'll pull for Texans. I just don't care much now.

Actually it did record the extra 30 minutes, the game went about 45 minutes long >:(

Naw, the extensions record as a separate program (usually) on my DVRs.  For whatever reason they didn't record on either the early or late games.

I don't think beer goggles will help this year.

Class of the League showing up.

My wife called every game this weekend,
much to my chagrin
I did not bet.

The Broncos Patriots game; obviously disappointed.
About what I expected, but had hoped for that "any given Sunday" scenario.
Brady and and the suspect Bellichek D showed the nation
um, yea, we can study film and stop that crap. ::)

I admire intensity, and do not mind handing the Brady congratulations.

The Packers. Tough to repeate, after two weeks of vacation
and discount double check commercials floating around the locker room.

I am an Alex Smith happy smile fan, seeing him come out of Utah,
blessed with a coach that smacks backs hard and takes chances.
I like that team to go the distance.

World champs anew in the Bay area?

Wouldn't mind.

Last year's World Champs couldn't win a post-season game this year, after going 15 and 1 in the regular season.  Weird huh?

A bit early to be handing the Lombardi to SF.  There are three east coast teams that might disagree with that assessment.

I finished watching the games a little while ago - my DVR works, and I rarely watch the games live.

I was glad the BYG won despite the refs best efforts, they deserved it.

Texans made a couple too many stupid mistakes. but they were the better team if you don't check the socreboard - too bad for them.

I'm looking forward to next weekend.

Ugh, stupid Packers!

Clearly, making State Farm commercials was not the best use of their time off.

I gotta say I'm worried about Reed. Even if he didn't permanently damage that knee, it's gonna slow him down. And Reed puts points on the board.

Sucks.  Great game, congrats to the Patriots.  Wish the outcome was different.  Not sure what a dead old rich lady has to do with it, although I know you New Englanders love your American "royalty" (see: bootlegger).  The people on the field are the ones who earned their money, however ridiculous their salaries are.

I actually rooted for the Patriots, although it pained me. Now I am roooting for the Giants because i think it would be fun if they beat them in the SB twice.  :)
