I just always liked the Dolphins and put them as my #2 favorite team. I only root against them when they play the Titans. Until the Titans came to Nashville (which is about 2 hours away) they used to broadcast Miami every Sunday. But even when I lived in PA I had a special affinity for the 'fins. Not really sure why, perhaps just the color or their uniforms.

I have the same feelings about the Dolphins as you have against the Pats...just hasn't seemed worth the effort in the past few years.

Nine more days for what?  The football season ended two weeks ago,  except for a small region of yankeeland.  I mean who really gives a rat's ass about another New York - Boston rivalry (New Jersey - Foxboro), aside from fans who live in that narrow slice of the Northeast?

The only thing less interesting is the Probowl.  I was offered a free trip to the game and decined.  Honolulu gets pretty weird when all of that is going on.  I'd rather stay home and brew.

I love the probowl!  It just seems so fun to me.  Some day I'd like to go.

I think it is a tad ridiculous that the moved the Pro Bowl before the Superbowl.  The two "best teams" will never have anybody playing.

I guess it is all about ratings and holding the feeble minded fans attention.
You know the press was hoping for a East coast West coast show down.

I don't like the move either - the other impact is that it puts more players "in the pro bowl", because any players selected from the two SB teams will be replaced with players from other teams, and all of them get to claim it.

I always tape the game and watch it.

I thought it was stupid to move the probowl before the super bowl as well, but then I started thinking I might actually watch it this year. I never gave a damn about it before. Still don't really give a damn but I may turn it on just for sh!ts and giggles.

BTW, NHL all-star game the same day this year, I've got hte DVR set for that one too.
