Does not have the ability to put the ball down the field?
In 2009 Tebow threw for 2895 yds (203/game avg.) - 21 TDs with 5 INTs.
Rushing 915 yds for 14 TDs.
In four years as a Gator he threw 9826 yds (179/game) - 88 TDs - 15 INTs
Rushing 2947 yds - 57 TDs
He did that playing in the SEC.
Sure, in college he was a great QB, but he will most likely never be a great Pro QB. I mean, heck! How many great college players never even make it in the pros? How many Heisman Trophy winners are flat out busts? Sorry, but that's not the same thing at all. I'm not saying he won't win a few games here and there but he will never be a super bowl winning QB. You have to be able to put the ball down the field in the pros. Tebow can't do that. Not consistently anyway. Not in the pros.
Tebow is like, the same QB as Vince Young. Poor throwing motion, doesn;t check down receivers, runs the first sign of break down or if his #1 guy is covered. VY won many games that way and I can tell you it was a heart attach to watch him play every time. And VY never made it to the Super Bowl and the best season the Titans had during his years was when he was injured and Carry Collins took over. And where is VY now? He's a back up. No one would be crazy enough to give him the starting position. The one thing Tebow has over VY is his attitude, he is a tremendous human being. But he'll never be a great NFL QB.
You'll see. Like, this weekend.
