well, the 109 yard run back for a TD was almost as interesting as the lights going out for 40 minutes.

Eh.  That Super Bowl will just go down as an also ran.

I did enjoy the way the game was called by Phil Simms and Jim Nantz.  Phill Simms is a bit of an asshole, but he really understands the game and explains what's going on on the field very well.  As opposed to say Joe Buck who talks about what the water boy's grandfather did for work during the Great Depression.

I was really hoping for a total power failure so they had to cancel the game.  That's the closest to both teams losing I was going to get. :)

I thought Simms sounded like an idiot trying to make excuses for the refs not calling obvious PI on the Ravens in the end zone on 4th down with less than 2 minutes left.  Holding beyond 5 yards with the ball in the air is "a good no-call" because "it's just hard to throw a penalty in that situation".  Seriously?

I thought the commercials were a disappointment - a few made me laugh, but nothing real stands out.  And that go-daddy commercial was just wrong.

I assume you mean the the closeup and the noises more than the concept?  As one of the many overweight, funny-looking enginerds out there who has far outkicked his coverage in the wife/girlfriend department, the concept didn't really bother me.   8)

I would have rather seen her make out with Danika Patrick.

The power failure had me guessing, but it was a good thing as I was kegging a Black IPA. I missed the halftime show, not that I'm a Beonce fan, but I usually watch it. I heard I didn't miss much.

The game was one of the closest scoring which made it fun to watch. A lot of bad calls for sure. Makes you think their fixed...or? Anyway, overall a good game to watch. Two great quarterbacks and SF will grow into a really great team with all of that young talent.

The commercials were so so...not the best. My wife watches the game for the commercials. :)

That's the bit of an asshole part I was talking about.  At least Phil was talking about the play.  Joe Buck would have been talking about where the referee's brother went to grade school.

I liked the Sketchers ad where the guy ran down the cheetah.

Pretty damn good game really, and I rarely watch and entire NFL game anymore. To me college football is much more interesting and fun to watch.  But last nights second half was really good drama.

Volkswagen was my favorite commercial. Big white office guy from Minnesota with the voice and vibe of Jimmie Cliff.
Thank you BEER!

That would have been one to keep on the DVR :)

That was the worst part, but it didn't help that her face looked like she was trying to cover up that she was grossed out at what she had just done.

Bottled my kriek Saturday, won the superbowl, and had a great core workout today... it's been a good weekend  ;)

Yea, congratulations Narvin.

Holy Moley....no freaking way.  I HATE Phil Simms with a passion, and he never seems to know what is actually going on.  My wife can call plays better than that guy.  What an idiot.

Dorito goat made me laugh.

How about Stevie Wonder as the voodoo king?  Stupid hexes, nasty beer, but Stevie Wonder as a voodoo king... pretty cool.  Wish I could make sparks when I snap my fingers.

Let me guess, you think Greg Gumbel, Dan Dierdorf and Joe Buck are geniuses, yah?

If you figure it out, just don't do it at any beer festival, if you catch my wiff, I mean drift.  ;D
