traditional beer recipes
« on: January 25, 2010, 02:00:47 pm »
We were all raised on traditional beers..Dixie,Falstaff,Regal and Lone Star were once favorites here...does anyone have recipes for "Dad's beer" or shopuld I assume that palates were naive then and any cheap cold "beer would do?
BTW,here's a nice bio about Falstaff and it's involvement with many breweries

Maybe not what you are looking for but I always brew a CAP or Cream Ale at least once a year. Gotta get me some old school beer every once in a while.  ;) My dad used to buy Genessee Cream Ale by the case and I lifted several off him in my teen age years. I used to think it tasted like heaven. I bought a case a while bak fro s***s and giggles and it wasn't all that.
