Boy, my Red Sox sure left a brown skidmark on the month of September.  Tonight should be interesting.  I think the Yankees are tanking it just to screw with the Sox.

I hope they make it in but with the pitching and defense right now, I doubt they will make it out of the divisional series.

If it helps, Ranger fans are all pulling for the Red Sox to hold on....Who wouldn't want them in the first round.

Listening to the Giants v Rockies game from SF on the radio.  Last game of the season for the 2010 World Champs.
Don't really give a RA about any teams in the post season.  The Giants came close to playing in October, but injuries took their toll this year.

April 2012 is right around the corner.

I was at the game last night... amazing.  It's midnight and we're sitting in the club level seats after hiding inside during the rain/lightning because the ushers don't care anymore.  Tampa had tied it up as we watched on tv by scoring 7 runs in two innings before the tarp came off and play resumed.  The O's blew some chances and it's two outs, bottom of the ninth, down 3-2 to the Red Sox and Orioles fans are booing loudly trying to silence the Sox fans chants.  Two strikes, people are standing, and all of a sudden two doubles and a single and Robert Andino is being mobbed on the basepaths.  As the Sox walk off the field in shock, they show Longoria's game-winning home run on the jumbotron.  Finally shut up all those "Let's go Red Sox" cheers!

Totally amazing.  I had to go to bed before all that happened and was actually shocked to see the results in the paper this morning.  Last regular games of the season and it goes down to 12 innings.  Wow.
