don't be alarmed, El Nino is a techincal term used by forcasters , it simply means .....El Nino = We have no clue !

I did a little searching and it appears this is the start of El Nino year(s).  I guess the floods in Peru should have been a clue for us all.

Just in case anyone's curious, "el niño" is actually Spanish for "the niño".
