To celebrate 40 years of homebrewing (as of July of this year), this weekend I'll brew the 2012 batch of my annual Christmas beer a full 1 year-plus in advance (I usually do it between February and April).
It will be the 20th year for this particular brew to contain a 10 to 15% addition of some of the previous year's batch.
The 2012 will spend an entire year wood-aging.
I just hope I can keep from sampling it too much during the course of the year.
