The article is interesting.  Just another good thing about our hobby.

Don't read the comment section unless you want a laugh (or to get pi55ed, it could go either way).  There are quite a few uninformed people on that site making comments.  The repeated comment about how 1 pint a day will give you cirrhosis of the liver is hysterical.  A lot more people should be on lists waiting for new livers if that was true.  "They have identified something healthy about beer, let the demonizing begin!!!"   ;D

Years ago I was told that if a person consumes more than 1-2 alcoholic drinks per week they are considered an alcoholic by the AMA. Ouch. Whereas in Czechoslovakia...

i crack up at the alcoholic stuff.  there is a difference between over use to where it damages your health and dependence.  that said, i had   a few patients recently with cirrhosis ( all women who drink wine).  (previous thread)
