Nothing here.  Heading down for another football game on Saturday and that kinda wipes me out for the weekend.

After smoking 20 Lbs of Wheat malt over oak, then toasting 1.5 lbs of that, I brewed a Graetzer "Real Version" as listed on page 192 of Radical Brewing.  10 gallon batch.

Brewed Baltic Porter today.
All 170 gallons of it (single batch).
Never had so much grain in my mash tun.

No brewing again - got my heating elements and hopstopper yesterday, which I'll be installing on the new kettles.  And then I can stare and drool at the new kettles sitting on the garage floor for the next 3-4 months.   ::)

West Coast APA. Basically, a session strength version of 21st Amendment's Brew Free Or Die IPA, which is one of my favorite IPAs.

ever tried the Green Flash IPA West Coast IPA clone? Dy-no-mite!

Heard a lot about it, but haven't tried it.  It sounds fantastic though; I'll probably have to brew it sometime!

No brewing this weekend still have 20 gallons fermenting steadily.  Barley Crusher and stir plate were waiting for me when I got home from work today.  Big step for the next batch!

Been brewing this one for the last year. Easily the best IPA I've ever made. I would highly recommend it to anyone. For me, I'll be dry hopping my Stone Levitation clone and watching the batch of cider I have going. Oh, and plenty of quality control!

Have Monday off, and both Sunday and Monday I'm alone (booyah! I mean... boohoo!). Brewing McQuaker's Oatmeal Stout (team member at work: "You're making that again? It was like an oatmeal cookie!") and a somewhat bold version of California Common. Happy to have some zymurgical therapy time.

I'm brewing a chili beer base Saturday. I plan on adding the peppers in the cornies next weekend. I'm still debating on which peppers, how many, and how they are processed.  I have a few pounds of Jalapeno and Anaheims, but could get others. I could use the small cornies and have up to 4 treatments. I have a Traeger and could smoke them. Ideas??

Denny's famous Vanilla Bourbon Porter on deck next weekend (if the chili beer is out of the conical).

Bruce .

I love the flavor but find it to be a bit over the top bitter for my taste.  I took that recipe after it first aired on CYBI and backed the gravity down about 15% and the bitterness about 20% but left the late hopping alone and the results were real nice.  Still, I prefer the Firestone Walker Union Jack clone which I've made a few times now.

Brewed a sweet stout last night, and plan on squeezing in a bitter of some sort in the next couple days.
