The Three Stooges.  ;D

I grew up laughing at these guys every weekend. Their hallmark of physical comedy and slapstick will remain etched in my mind.

I agree, that's some of the funniest slapstick ever and I'll bet I've seen everyone of them at least 3 times each. The ones with the original Curly were the best.

If it was popular today, you'd probably have to spend a good 5 minutes reading the warnings to kids before the show ever started. I guess we were smart enough to realize that you couldn't really do that other people.

I forgot how much silly fun the Three Stooges were until one of the channels ran a New Year's marathon of old episodes. Even better with a beer in hand!  ;D

I think the thing that sets The Stooges apart is that their humor is timeless.  They're still funny after 50-60 years, they'll still be funny in a hundred years.  Very few can say that.

They are timeless. They had a chemisty that really worked for them. It was like peanut butter and jelly on bread. It was a match made in heaven.
