What do you want Santa to bring you?!
« on: October 30, 2011, 06:28:22 AM »
My wife and I were going thru our list of what we're getting everybody for Christmas list when we finally landed on ourselves. I could always use a new shirt for work, and maybe a sweater...but what I really want from Santa is a chest freezer or maybe some classes at the community school on welding!

What's on your Christmas list for Santa to bring to you?

Cheers!
Casey

I want a motorized grain mill cart with a large hopper. I'm not sure if Santa will have room on his sleigh for that one...might have to make it myself.  :)

A paycheck, so I can keep brewing!

Maybe it's Canadian Christmas? They do have Thanksgiving in October, you know. ;D
Beer is like porn. You can buy it, but it's more fun to make your own.

Hmmm. I wonder if I go trick or treating tomorrow carrying my boil kettle instead of a candy bag, if people will drop hops, grain, and yeast in there.

Don't really do the Christmas thing, but I have been wanting a Foodsaver vacuum sealer for my hops.  Probably will get that before xmas OR for the Winter Solstice!

I forget that some people have kids and live in areas where people trick or treat! Halloween passed for me on Friday when we had the Halloween party for adults. So I can respectfully wait two days...and then bring this thread back!!

Cheers!

That would a great idea!! Trick or Treating for adults where we had out one ounce samplers of our beers! I'm calling my LHBS right now to see if we can't do some last minute planning.

Dear Santa,

I would like a complete 15bbl brewery and place to keep it.

I'd like a good sturdy hotplate to boil 4gal of wort indoors.  The new stove with the glass top, isn't cutting it.  I'm using a turkey fryer but when its freezing cold I'd like to have an indoor alternative.

I'd also like a keg meister with two taps, for the den.  Right now I have to go downstairs and use picnic taps in my keezer or frig.

And thats all I need.  And this lamp.

Dear Santa,
Please, bring me a 400+ cfm 6" inline duct fan and a bag of Canada Malting 2-row.
We promise to leave out milk & cookies for you & carrots for your reindeer.

You're devoted fan,

Dear Santa,

I would like a good saws-all and the time to fix that door in the shop that the carpenters didn't square up correctly before they sealed up the walls.  And if it's not too much trouble I'd like the address of the guy who framed the hole for said door so far out of plumb you can't square up the door without a saws-all.  I'd be happy leave a six pack at his house after I reframe his front door.

Thanks!

Paul

***The door really annoys me but I supposed a couple new pair of dress pants would work too.

 ;D
Where the heck are we going?  And what's with this hand basket?
