WHAT: 8TH ANNUAL IRON MASH COMPETITION

WHY: Like TV's "IRON CHEF," teams of BASH homebrewers are presented with the secret ingredients only 30 minutes before brewing, The team must must devise a beer recipe in a hurry. Members of the general public are free to observe the process, meet the participants and learn about the homebrewing hobby. Finally, the competition is winner-take-all – the team trophy and individual medallions are awarded for first place only, when the beers are judged at the January BASH meeting.
