AHA Club-Only Competition - Specialty Beer Results
« on: October 31, 2011, 03:43:26 PM »
The AHA Club-Only Competition for Specialty Beer was hosted by the Brewers United Zany Zymurgists (BUZZ) club of West Chester, PA on Saturday, October 29, 2011.

Forty-nine (49) entries were received from twenty-six (26) states.

First Place:   Matt Sager of Walnut Creek, CA representing Diablo Order of Zymiracle Enthusiasts (DOZE) with a
Specialty (23a) beer named "Oatmeal Raisin Cookie."   This truly was like drinking a rich, liquid oatmeal cookie.

Second Place:   Victor Macias of Los Angeles, CA representing Pacific Gravity Home Brewers Club with a Specialty (23a) beer named "Millefolia Gruit."    What a well balanced combination of herbs and malt.

Third Place:   Bob Love of St. Charles, MO representing Garage Brewers Society with a Specialty (23a) beer named "Rasmanian Devil."   JalapeƱo, raspberries and malt all came together so well.

Congratulations to all brewers and clubs.
