Delicious, malty, coffee, some chocolate, perhaps plum or raisin flavor, more of a true English version that would have been sent to Russian royalty ... I certainly never noticed any harshness to it, its not huge on bittering hops.  Awesome beer imho.  I'll be buying it again as long as it is available.

I got my introduction on IS with Samuel Smith's IRS. Which interestingly I haven't seen on the shelves on a long time. Maybe I'm just looking past it.
