Got a little work done today. Pretty much just the floor. Hope to have it under roof tomorrow.

That's not at all where I was picturing you building the brewery. But, I remember you brewing in that spot weaze. Last year wasn't it? Looks like the dimensions are just below the threshold where you would start to need permits.

That's the beauty of it. You can build a 200 sq ft structure here with no permit. The mancave is 16x12...192 sq....A year and a half later, I add a 12x8 "addition". Still under 200 sq.  ;D
Would I like it bigger? Sure. But due to my in-laws still having some yard left, and budgeting, 12x8 will do just fine. Plenty of room for brewing.

Is that insulation coming in contact with the ground?

Looks like the wrap is between the insulation and the earth.

There's a good four inches between the bottom of the insulation, and ground. It was dug out about six inches. Then, it was wrapped from the bottom, and up over the top. Also, tar paper will be put down the sides, to prevent future mulch from coming into contact with it.

Take a last good look at the front wall of the mancave, and the placement of the door. The door is coming out, will be framed in, and sided over. Then, move into the addition.

Windows gone too. What about the roof? Might look a little hillbilly if you don't go from the crown.

I have heard that coveralls are allowed in close proximity to a man cave.
