I recommend chilling right after the boil to mitigate the formation of precursers of DMS, especially if your using Pils malt. However you don't have to be too concerned about DMS if you've boiled for >75min. because most of the precursers have been driven off during the boil.

You can make great tasting, DMS-free and clear beer by chilling immediately after the boil or by allowing the beer to stand hot, much like the whirlpool step that many professional breweries use.  They are just two different techniques that you need to learn to use effectively.
