That is one of advantage of plastic kegs.
No scrap value.

There are two more.
Lighter in weight
Cheaper.

A third is that they look cool.
I love me the bumblebee keg. 8)

Anyway, more pics please.  Show you goods. :)

re plastic kegs, Thanks to you guys I've decided to not go with EcoFass and go with Keykeg instead. Brewdog and Mikkeller use them, and that's Good Enough For Me.

Thanks Pinnah and Paul, the deal with the thread is to get the dreamer thinking that it is not hard to do this. You can do 7bbl = 210 gallons. I love my truck!

Side note with kegs.

I hope to go with butterballs SS and they suck for you HBer's. I know they suck for HBers, but I hate to buy kettlles for HBer's

Lots of breweries are using them now. I get returns from Cigar City all the time that I have to send back. I have probably around 800 of the PKA kegs, though they are not without problems they have been a decent investment. They cost about 1/3 the price of stainless.

I bet Wayne loves you!

I just hope he sends mine back when/if he gets them!

2 X 7 BBLs -- they originally came from Frank Ma at PBST, but I picked them up from Upslope Brewing Company.

Is that a 10 BBL brite you posted?

Thanks! The brites look nice as well! What specs did you go with for the brewhouse? I'm curous what others are doing as far as the brewhouse goes, and how that matches up with distribution choices...

We're going to launch with the 1 BBL brewhouse and 7 BBL FVs, but will expand to a 7 BBL within 18 months of opening. It's going to be painful at first, but will be a good thing in the long run and do-able with on-site distribution. If it weren't for on-site pints, I'd be shifting plans for sure! I'd never think of trying to run a packaging brewery on that size.
