In Zymurgy’s March/April 2017 Style Spotlight, Amahl Turczyn describes how homebrewers can simulate a nitro pour from a keg by cranking up the serving pressure and dispensing through a barely-open picnic faucet. That got us thinking: are there other ways to simulate a nitro-style pint without a dedicated nitro setup? The AHA office kegerator is only equipped for CO2 (cue sad violin), and an informal office poll revealed that those of who enjoy a creamy pour constitute a small but passionate minority.
