The National Homebrew Competition gives you a chance to receive invaluable feedback on your entries, and also recognizes the most outstanding, world-class homebrewed beer, mead, and cider, while taking home some really amazing prizes. What is stewarding?
Stewards are part of the competition team that help prepare and deliver entries to judges, along with other tasks. For more information, please visit the Beer Judge Certification Program website (bjcp.org). If interested in stewarding, information on doing so will be posted by location here in early 2025.
What is judging?
Judging is the process of evaluating entries in relation to a style guideline.
When is judging/stewarding?
Judging/stewarding for the First Round competitions take place at various first round sites from April – June.
Who do I contact about judging/stewarding at a particular region?
Final Round judging and volunteer opportunities for 2025 are currently invite-only.
