Experimental Brewing

Homebrewing luminaries and authors of Experimental Homebrewing and Homebrew All-Stars Denny Conn and Drew Beechum are known in homebrewing circles as experts on all things beer and brewing. But as many homebrewers know, brewing isn’t just about the beer. It’s about the people, too. Go to any homebrew club meeting, attend Homebrew Con or an AHA Rally, or just strike up a conversation with someone else shopping at your local homebrew supply shop and it will soon become clear to you that homebrewing is also about community. Homebrewing with others is one of the best ways to learn more about your own process while also having fun with like-minded individuals.

With the AHA’s annual Learn to Homebrew Day just around the corner, Denny and Drew discussed what makes a social brew day a great event on the Experimental Brewing podcast. On episode 21 of The Brew Files, Denny and Drew break down why a brew day with friends is so fun and offer their best tips and tricks on how to keep the party rolling while brewing a batch of beer.
