When you are a homebrewer, we know that you are a maker – specifically, you like to make your own fermented beverages. So, we invite you to learn how to make another fermented beverage: cider. During this presentation we will first explain the general concept of cider and how this beverage is understood around the world. Secondly, different definitions and styles imply different technical yeast requirements to consider when picking a yeast strain for your cider. Therefore, Fermentis has developed four yeast strains that we would like to highlight for cidermaking. These four different strains all have specific characteristics which will help you produce the cider you want.
