How to Celebrate

Before the event

• Register your Big Brew Site.
• Hang up a Big Brew promo poster in your homebrew shop and around town; or hang up your customized Big Brew Site flyer to promote the event and your site around your town.
• Fill in the customizable Big Brew Press Release and distribute it to local newspapers, radio, TV stations to get the word out about Big Brew and your event.
• Invite friends and family to help brew beer.
• Check out this year's Big Brew Recipes.
• Hold a special beer dinner for friends and family that are going to brew with you.
• See Sites to find out if there is a Big Brew site in your area and join in on some homebrewed fun.

During the event

• At noon Central Daylight Time (USA), please raise your glasses in a simultaneous toast to homebrewing and the happiness it brings to us all!
• Take pictures/video for the Big Brew Video Contest
• Tell friends and family about other American Homebrewers Association fun events – National Homebrewers Conference, Mead Day, Learn to Homebrew Day, AHA Rallies, etc.
• Bring out homebrewing literature for your friends to read – Zymurgy, Zymurgy: An Introducation to Homebrewing, How to Brew by John Palmer, and other homebrewing books.
• Share your homebrew, pair your homebrew with food and have fun.

After the event

• Tell the homebrewing community all about your Big Brew site, Submit Site Results.
• Publicize your Big Brew site with our customizable Big Brew Press Release and our Video Contest.
• Check back to Big Brew Sites for post-event numbers.
• Bottle the beer you brewed together.
• Buy a Gift Membership to the American Homebrewers Association for a friend or family member.
• Tell new homebrewers to check out the AHA’s Homebrewopedia for up-to-date brewing information.
