Non-Discrimination Policy

The American Homebrewers Association fosters a homebrewing community that is welcoming to all people of legal drinking age, regardless of race, sex, color, religion, national origin, disability, military status, marital/familial status, genetic information, political beliefs, sexual orientation (including gender identity), creed, or ancestry. (Read more on the AHA’s efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the homebrewing community.)

The American Homebrewers Association reserves the right to not publish and/or promote any homebrew club, competition or other homebrew/beer event or article that discriminates, harasses or intimidates others on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, national origin, disability, military status, marital/familial status, genetic information, political beliefs, sexual orientation (including gender identity), creed, or ancestry.

Complaints of violation of the above policy should be reported to aha@brewersassociation.org. All such complaints will be reviewed by the American Homebrewers Association Governing Committee or a subcommittee of the Governing Committee, which will determine an appropriate course of action.
