The AHA’s vision is simple: a homebrewer in every neighborhood and a homebrew club in every community.
Club Resources
Homebrew clubs help make that vision real. Clubs are where new homebrewers find encouragement, experienced brewers share what they know, and the hobby grows person by person, meeting by meeting, and community by community.
AHA offers resources to help clubs connect, plan meetings, support members, and strengthen local homebrewing communities.
Generate Revenue for Your Club
Encouraging club members to join the American Homebrewers Association helps strengthen both your club and the broader homebrewing community.
AHA membership gives homebrewers access to trusted recipes, Zymurgy® magazine, member-only resources, events, competitions, discounts, and a national community of brewers who share their passion for homebrewing.
Membership can also directly support your club. Through the AHA Referral Program, registered clubs can receive a custom referral code to share with members and supporters. When someone joins AHA using your club’s code, they receive $5 off their membership, and your club earns $5 per referred membership.
It’s a simple way to help more homebrewers connect with AHA resources while generating revenue for your club.
Access Homebrew Club Insurance
Registered homebrew clubs can also access the AHA Club Insurance Program, which offers general liability and liquor liability coverage for club meetings and club-sponsored events.
The program helps clubs access affordable coverage through West Insurance Agency. Clubs may also be eligible to have their general liability and liquor liability premiums reimbursed by AHA if at least 75% of club members are current AHA members.
Join the Conversation
Club leaders and members can use the AHA Forum to ask questions, share ideas, and learn from other clubs. The Forum includes a dedicated space for homebrew club discussions, including club operations, meeting ideas, member engagement, events, and more.
Share Ideas and Feedback
AHA continues to develop resources for homebrew clubs and welcomes input from club leaders and members. Have an idea, meeting format, tool, or resource that could help other clubs? Share it in the AHA Forum or contact the AHA.
