Wife's water just broke - due date was theoretically in 3 weeks but I have been advised to 'not worry about it and get some sleep.' riiiiiiight.

Ummmm . . . I can't imagine being able to do that, but it's good advice if you can swing it.

And congratulations again!

Hospital says to go in now, just to be on the safe side. No way I'd sleep anyway. Too scared.

I gotta laugh at the fact that wife's water broke and you're posting... somehow I think you're not worried at all...

Ewwwwwww... No. Monitoring finished, water definitely broke, no contractions, she's at the hospital and I'm getting some sleep while I still can. Thanks for the good words everybody.

How cool is that?!  In the coming years you'll be able to celebrate your child's birthday and the Superbowl on the same Sunday.  And if a miracle happens you might even celebrate a Bears win. ;)
