This made national news. Thankfully you and your family are okay Keith.

The Prius on slide 7 is one of my business partner's wife's car. She is the Librarian at my son's school.

Wow, those are stunning photos!  Amazing destruction; talk about having your world torn apart.
Very sad for those folks.

I was charting the path of blue on the radar here,
and was shocked at how widespread the red cells were across the east.

Crazy.  Is that even "tornado country"?

I would be hogging out a root cellar.

My heart sank when I read the subject line.  Glad the kiddo is okay.  I have two little guys and know you must have been a wreck when you first heard.
I've consumed all of my home brew and still can't relax!  Now what!

Just found out one of the families in my youngest son's scout den lost their house.  :( Family is ok though. My parent's church, which was nearly totaled in last year's tornado sustained damage again. It's really strange how these storms seem to follow similar paths every year. One neighborhood near my parents has been hit three times since I moved here in 1993.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of the families that lost loved ones and homes. I hope I never have to experience one of those.

Glad all are OK, Keith.  My wife lived in Xenia OH when it was destroyed in the 70s.  These storms are scary for good reason.  Be safe.
